Biography
Sabrina Hsu was born in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan, raised in Brisbane, Australia until she was 7, then moved back to Taiwan. She took a jewelry lesson while she joined the pre-college program in 2014 summer at the Academy of Art University. She found out she had an interest in Jewelry & Metal Arts after she took the class, so she decided to study abroad in San Francisco. After getting her bachelor degree from AAU, she went to GIA for learning 3D jewelry design and gemology..
Sabrina Hsu is currently taking Graduate Gemologist program in Gemological Institute of America, and scheduled to graduate in August 2022. She has had an enthusiasm for art since she was a child. She studied fine art when she was in high school, and she excelled in sketching, oil color, printmaking, and traditional Chinese painting. She has participated in many art exhibitions and different contests since high school; she won prizes in several fine art competitions from 2012 - 2015, and some jewelry contests from 2016-2020. As a fine artist and jeweler with two cultural backgrounds, she combines her learned skill sets along with her personal diverse experiences to create compelling and unique art pieces and jewelry.
